Consignor Agreement
- Consignors are responsible for reading through the content of the contract.
- General Information
- 1. We accept home goods, jewelry, and fashion accessories during normal business hours on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. No consignments of any kind are accepted on Tuesdays.
- 2. Management reserves the right to exercise discretion in determining which items are deemed eligible for consignment.
- 3. Consignors receive 40% of the sale price on furniture, clothing, fashion accessories, jewelry, and household items.
- 4. Consigned furniture, home goods, jewelry, fashion accessories will be on the sales floor for 90 days.
- 5. Consignors agree that furniture, home goods, and accessories are under exclusive contract with us for a period of 90 days, during which time they may not sell or advertise the same items through any other platform, including but not limited to Facebook Marketplace, Next Door, Craigslist or private sale.
- 6. Consignors are responsible for picking up any unsold items before the 90-day consignment period ends. Items not claimed by that date may, at the store’s discretion, be donated to charity or absorbed into store inventory, and no compensation will be due to the consignor.
- 7. For any item priced at over $100, we will contact the consignor to determine disposition.
- 8. Consignors are responsible for picking up their items within 10 days of being notified by the store regarding retrieval.
- 9. If any item is accepted but later discovered to be compromised in any way, management reserves the right to remove the item from consignment and donate it.
- 10. While every reasonable care is taken with consigned items, consignors understand that items are left at Where’d You Get That? at their own risk. Where’d You Get That? cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, damage, or misplacement.
- 11. Payment will be made on demand for the full balance through the payout date.
- 12. Consignor payments can be collected at the store by specific inquiry. If this poses a hardship, a stamped addressed envelope may be provided for mailing.
- 13. Balances are maintained for one year. Any money due to a consignor beyond that time will be forfeited.
- Furniture/Rugs
- 1. All furniture considerations must be pre-approved before placement into inventory.
- 2. Furniture drop off is by appointment only.
- 3. Furniture is Picked up by a Local Moving Team: If we arrange for a furniture pickup from your home using a local delivery/pick-up service, you’ll receive 40% of the final sale price. There is a $50 administrative fee for this service, which will be deducted from your account.
- 4. Self-Delivery or Independent Movers: If you or an independent moving company brings furniture to the store, you’ll receive 50% of the final sale price. (Please note that our staff is unable to assist with unloading furniture from personal vehicles.)
- 5. Our pickup team will make the final decision on which items to consign after visual inspection. Please note that photos sent via email may not accurately depict the item's condition. This also applies to furniture brought to the store for consignment.
- 6. Area rugs from pet-loving households will not be accepted for consignment. Area rugs must be laid out for evaluation, and our pickup team has the authority to accept or deny pick up based on the condition of the area rug.
- CLOTHING
- 1. Clothing consignments are accepted on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- 2. Consignors receive 40% of the sale price on clothing.
- 3. Each clothing consignment visit should not exceed eight items, with a maximum of two visits per month.
- 4. Clothing will be in inventory for 60 days (30 days full price, 30 days half price).
- 5. If any clothing article is accepted but later discovered to be compromised in any way, management reserves the right to remove the item from consignment and donate it.
- 6. Items must be current in style (2 years or newer; exceptions for high-end designer items).
- 7. Clothing must be clean, pressed, free of wear and tear, and from smoke-free environments.
- 8. Articles must be brought on hangers, not in bags.
- 9.If you have sentimental attachment to an item, we kindly ask that you refrain from consigning it with us. Our goal is to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
- 10.Unsuitable Items: Those with stains, missing buttons, broken zippers, dated styles, etc., will be donated without contact.
- 11. Clothing items that remain unsold after 60 days will be donated. If you wish to retrieve unsold items, contact the store before the end of the merchandising period. We do not return unsold items.
- Jewelry Consignment Guidelines
- 1. Item Limits: Up to 5 jewelry pieces, twice per month. Place individual pieces in small zip lock bag.
- 2. Merchandising Period: 90 days (discounted 50% after 80 days).
- 3. Accepted Styles: Chunky, fun, unusual designs.
- 4. Excluded Styles: Chokers, thin chains, multi-beaded necklaces, watches.
- 5. Exceptions may be made for high-priced jewelry pieces.
