Apparel and Accessories Consignment Guidelines
Where'd You Get That? in Beaufort, SC, aims to bring the community high-quality, gently used clothing for your enjoyment. Therefore, we are very particular in choosing apparel and fashion accessories for consignment. Please read the following guidelines before bringing your items to the store.
- Items are accepted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Clothing items accepted for consignment should be current in style. All clothing and accessories must be "like new" or "gently used", on hangers and wrinkle free.
- Each consignor is limited to bringing in five articles of clothing per visit, with a maximum of two visits per month. Our friendly staff will determine which items will be chosen for consignment.
- Consignors receive 40% of the sale price on clothing and accessories.
- Items are merchandised for 60 days (30 days at full price and 30 days at half off). The consignor is responsible for retrieving any unsold items before the 60-day consignment period. Items not picked up will be donated to charity.
- Consignors agree to leave items at Where'd You Get That? at their own risk. We are not responsible for any stolen, damaged, or misplaced items.
- We will not accept consignments from multiple consignors brought to the store by one individual.
- Our store is very selective about the type of apparel accepted for consignment. We advise our consignors to carefully assess their items before bringing them to the store.
- Please check for stains or marks, holes or tears, and pilling on sweaters. If items have odors, such as tobacco or musty scents, they will be returned to you before you leave the store. Items sprayed with Febreze or any strong-scented odor eliminator will not be accepted. If items are found to have any of the mentioned defects after they are accepted, they will be donated without notice.
- We are improving our drop-off process. Any clothing items we accept will be considered for consignment when you bring them to the store, while those not accepted will be returned to you before you depart from the store.
- Please place your items on hangers. We will not accept items placed in bags.
